Jeff Loven's One Man Band to Appear Saturday April 22, 2017 8 pm
Singer and guitarist Jeff Loven has performed at a variety of venues on numerous stages at clubs, universities and festivals, both locally and nationally.

Jeff won two Minnesota Music Awards and was picked by Steve Vai and Steve Morse as winner of Kahler’s International Guitar Competition. He has toured across the United States as guitarist for Obsession and Funhouse, rocked 93X-fest with The Coup De Grace and tore up CBGBs in New York with Crash Street featuring Melvin James. Many people will also remember seeing Jeff perform with The Killawatts and also with KQRS house band The Janitors.

Recently Jeff has enjoyed tremendous success performing as Minnesota’s #1 One Man Band.

The Heavy Metal Polka

After viewing Loven's Youtube sensation Heavy Metal Polka the casting producer for NBC hit series America's Got Talent has called Jeff several times in hopes of bringing the spectacle to network television and has left an open invitation for upcoming season 10.

Jeff Among the Greats

Jeff took a picture with Eddie Van Halen back in 1985 in New Orleans. The Van Halen news desk recently ran a story about Ed's adventure on Bourbon Street back in the day. Loven was there. Jeff declined an invitation to audition for Guns & Roses. he is having fun here!

Your help is needed
Our Administrator has digitally scanned the Governors for Lodge 1088.

Our history is so important! Many pictures have been lost due to both fires of 1960 and 2005.

If you have any idea who served in the missing years or have a photo which can be scanned in to this list, please by all means send it to the Administrator. Many of the missing are relatives of members.

You can find the document by clicking the Document Tab on this site. Select Past Governors. then open that document.

SOCIAL QUARTERS RULES
This has always been the policy of the Moose International but not enforced as well as it should have been:

The front door will be closed unless staffed by a Moose Member or an Officer. Membership card access is required.

The House Committee will be enforcing this rule.

* ONLY MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING (NOT IN ARREARS) MAY PURCHASE ALCOHOL.
* GUESTS MAY NOT PURCHASE ALCOHOL.
* FOR LODGES THAT HAVE THEIR OWN GAMING LICENSES THIS ALSO TRUE FOR PULL TABS AND BINGO.
*THERE IS NO GAMING, WAGERING, OR SPORTS BETTING AUTHORIZED IN THE SOCIAL QUARTERS AT ANY TIME WITH EXCEPTION OF BINGO AT LODGE 1088 IS PLAYED WITH STATE PERMIT AND DISPENSATION FROM MOOSE INTL AS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC WITH ALCOHOL.
*GUESTS ARE ALLOWED ONLY TWO VISITS (non bingo) BEFORE THEY ARE REQUIRED TO FILL OUT A MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION.
* FOR ALCOHOL PURCHASES YOU MUST SHOW YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD ON THE FIRST DRINK TO THE SERVER.
*If you are not current in your dues you will not be allowed to participate in Moose Horseshoe, Golf, Bowling, and Dart Leagues until your dues are paid current.

CHECK POLICY - Only members may write a check at the Lodge. The maximum allowable amount is $50.00 per Family (Husband/Wife). One check will only be accepted per day.

Why is this being done now?
1) If you go to any other Moose Lodge you are required to present your card to the server or pull-tab sellers. We should be no different.

2) Some members will not pay their dues because their membership card has meant little in terms of access.

PLEASE BE KIND TO THE SERVER. This is not their call as they are only doing what they are directed to by the House Committee and Moose International's Territorial Manager. We have asked the servers to use common sense in enforcing this.

We ask for your cooperation in this issue.

Reminder, we do not accept Business checks other than rentals or donations, 3rd party checks, or money orders.
With thanks,
The House Committee
